Givenchy to feature transsexual model in new fall ad campaign
Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci has cast a transsexual model in the fashion house’s fall-winter ad campaign, WWD reports. Lea T., formerly known as Leo, is also Tisci’s longtime personal assistant and former fit model.
Tisci said, “She’s always been very feminine: superfragile, very aristocratic.” He added that including a transgendered person in his campaign illustrates the “masculine-feminine dichotomy” he is now known for.
The changing face of hip-hop
The world around us is changing (like it or not). One of the few places still left untouched by a GLBT influence, Hip-Hip is now being infiltrated by a need breed of MC’s. Unlike their mainstream contemporaries these rappers are of the GLBT variety and being quite open and vocal about it.
I for one am beyond excited to see that the gays are claiming their space within in the hip-hop industry. While we call all be certain that they will not see mainstream success anytime in the near future, one day they will be viewed as pioneers.

Sulrty singer Toni Braxton served up some morning sexy on Today as she continued to promote her new album “Pulse” which is in stores today. I have to say after seeing Toni perform this song a few times, I am actually beginning to love the song. I wasn’t sold on it initially but it is quickly growing on me.

Toni sits down with Mo’nique
Toni Braxton is hard at work promoting her latest studio album “Pulse”. The diva stopped by the Mo’Nique show to perform. Overall I loved the performances but I couldn’t understand a damn thing Toni was saying. Janet is often criticized for this same thing but I think Toni is much more difficult to interpret.
I love Toni and I loved the performance.

The “Icon” was out for a night on the town. Superstar Janet Jackson enjoyed a rare night off by attending Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit.
