Kelis shows off “Flesh Tone” album cover
Kelis is having the best week ever after being awarded a 100k in her divorce settlement from Nas. The eclectic singer is also giving us a glimpse into what we can expect from her (visually) on her “Flesh Tones” album by releasing the album cover.
Flesh tones will serves as Kelis’ 5th studio outing and will be released internationally on May 17th and in the U.S.on July 6th. I am sure the record company is probably planning to release a more commercially viable single here in the U.S., which is why there is a later release date.

Kelis has once again proved that she is the queen of alternative. This video is colorful vibrant and intriguing.
I especially love the little surprise at the end.

Kelis “Acapella” teaser
Before there was a Lady Gaga, there was a Kelis. The former Mrs. Nasir Jones is finally back to doing what she does best: making music. The David Guetta produced “Acapella” will serve as the lead single from her “Flesh Tones” disc.
