Transsexual murderer, suing the state to pay for sex-change

The unmitigated gall of some people. This case is one of those cases that really makes me a ambivalent. While I beleieve that certain accommodations should be made for gender variant individuals….you have to keep in mind that you are a ward of the state and the whole purpose of prison is to strip you of your rights.

So for a transsexual to go to jail (for murder) and then decide that she is ready to transition, seems a little opportunistic to me. At the most….she should be allowed to have hormone therapy and even that is being generous, considering the nature of her crime.

No to mention..,what good is the sex change going to do you you, if you are incarcerated for the rest of your life? To me this case only hurts those transgender individuals who are really in dire need of state/government assistance.

A cross-dressing Massachusetts inmate who murdered his wife and has spent the last decade suing the Department of Correction for access to a sex change operation had a taxpayer funded mammogram this week, Fox 25 has learned.

Robert Kosilek – who sued for the right to change his name to Michelle in 1993, the year that he began his expensive court battle to force taxpayers to foot the bill for a sex change operation – has been receiving hormone injections and electrolysis hair removal as an inmate at MCI-Norfolk.

Those hormone treatments helped Kosilek develop breasts and the con has been wearing a bra in the all-male Massachusetts prison, DOC officials said.

On April 13, Kosilek, 59, was transported from the prison to the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Boston for an appointment in the radiology department. There he was given a routine mammogram before he was returned to the prison at noon, according to transportation documents obtained by Fox 25.

DOC spokeswoman Diane Wiffin would not comment on Kosilek citing CORI restrictions. But she did release a statement saying:

Dad slaps daughter for eating his Pringles

I always thought it was a parents job to teach their children how to share. Apparently one dad missed parenting class on the day that lesson was being taught:

An Alabama man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly slapping his two-year-old daughter when she ate some of his Pringles, WBRC reported.

Hospital staff called the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department after the child was brought to the emergency room with a large hand print and an abrasion on her face, according to WBRC.

Sheriff’s deputies said 22-year-old Justin Green admitted to hitting his daughter and was charged with child abuse.

“Pringles must be a pretty powerful thing. That you want them all for yourself and you can’t share them with your own two-year-old child,” said Randy Christian of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.

“You know what…if he thought it was something she would choke on, there’s certainly a proper response for that,” Christian said.

1st of all when I looked at the picture below…the 1st thing that stood out to me were the numbers “666” above her head. For all of my bible thumpers….you know that is the mark of the beast.

Not to insinuate that this young woman is in any way evil or a beast but something evil was clearly in her midst.

When a teenage cousin showed up at Evelyn Burgess’ house for Easter dinner wearing what Burgess considered a revealing outfit, the hostess was not going to let the issue go.

According to family members who were present, Burgess got mad when her husband took notice of the T-shirt and jean shorts that Danielle Pickens was wearing.

Burgess and Danielle Pickens fought before Pickens walked outside and got into a car in front of the Linden-area house.

Burgess followed, pointed a handgun at her 19-year-old second cousin and shot her in the head, according to police.

Burgess, 42, told police that Pickens showed up at her house in an outfit that “was inappropriate and disrespectful to wear at Easter dinner,” said Columbus homicide detective Steven Eppert.

Man arrested for stabbing hiw wife 70 times in the chest as children watched in horror

Sometimes all you can say is: Wow! This story just boggles my mind.

My mother always told me: “Its a thin line, between love and hate” and obviously she was not lying. How could a man promise to “Love, Honor and Protect” a woman and then do this (in front of their kids)?

As far as I’m concerned…any person with such little regard for human life, has no right to live amongst the masses. Throw his black-ass under the jail and get those kids into counseling A.S.A.P

A Minnesota man is in police custody after they say he stabbed his wife to death in the head and chest 70 times in front of their two children.

46-year-old Billy Nash fatally stabbed his wife Pauline Nash before one of their six children intervened, grabbing the knife from him and running away.

A week before killing his wife, he was charged with misdemeanor assault for slapping, kicking and dragging his wife by the hair for not wanting to have sex with him.

A judge released Nash however on terms that he would not have contact with her.

He violated that order just a week later, arguing with the woman about money and ultimately stabbing her to death.

The couple’s daughter 18-year-old Brittany Nash says she awoke to hear her mother’s terrified screams Friday around 3 a.m.

When she ran to help, she found her father attacking her mother and dialed 911 while her 13-year-old sister stepped in, grabbing the knife and running away.

Toni Braxton having financial troubles again!

Poor Toni Braxton (and I mean poor). The “Unbreak My Heart” diva just can’t seem to catch a break these days and I am beginning to wonder if maybe its Toni that’s the problem. Many of you may recall back in the 90’s Toni had to file bankruptcy as a result of a faulty deal with Laface records.

Many of assumed that that would be the end of her financial woes…but now we see it was just the beginning. In recent years, Toni has had a deal with Black Ground records reportedly worth sum 10 million dollars, a stint in Vegas said to have been worth 10’s of millions and Dancing With The Stars.

So where is all of the money going?

Now the tax guys are after Toni and we all know….Uncle Sam does not play with his coins!

Financial troubles are once again plaguing Toni Braxton. According to newly published reports, the singer has fallen behind in her taxes and owes the IRS $396,000. Toni and her husband, who are now separated, were hit with a lien on their property March 26th- this in addition to also being sued for $900,000 in delinquent loan payments. The singer also reportedly defaulted on her mortgage last year.

Toni’s money problems date back over a decade ago to when she first filed for bankruptcy. Toni’s troubles seemed to disappear as she signed a new deal with her record label and did a long time stint in Vegas. However, those ventures fell apart as Toni suffered from health issues that caused her show to close down and her record deal fell apart resulting in her manager suing her.

Since then Toni has found a new label and is scheduled to release her “Pulse” album on May 4th.

One of the men responsible for the rape of a 7 year old girl is arrested.

Timear Lewis, 19 is the latest to be arrested in connection with the gang rape of a 7 year old Trenton NJ, girl. The girl was allegedly offered to the group of men by her 14 year old step sister.

I am so happy so see that authorities are wasting no time rounding these men up and I hope they get everything they have coming to them for the torment the inflicted on a defenseless child.

Two men and three teenage boys were charged Saturday with gang-raping a 7-year-old girl who was sold by her 15-year-old stepsister during a party at a crime-ridden apartment building in Trenton, police said. Details of the arrests were announced at a Saturday evening news conference outside police headquarters. Police Director Irving Bradley said detectives had been working around the clock since the crime was reported March 28.

“We did get a lot of cooperation from the community, which helped break this case,” Bradley said. Those arrested included Gregory Joseph Leary, 20, in custody since Friday, when he was charged with having sex with the 15-year-old. The other four are Timear Lewis, 19, and three boys aged 13, 14 and 17. Each was charged with aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment. Prosecutors likely would seek to try all of them as adults, Mercer County prosecutor Joseph Bocchini said.
The suspects, who were to be assigned public defenders, were being held Saturday night and couldn’t be contacted for comment. There was no telephone listing for Lewis; a telephone for a G. Leary had been disconnected.

The case shocked residents of the gritty Rowan Towers apartment building, where three of the people arrested live, police Capt. Joseph Juniak said.
Building management has stepped up its security presence there and promised additional safety measures. Residents have expressed skepticism that the apartments would become safer.

Shootings in Chicago, getting national attention.

Chicago is my hometown so none of this come as a surprise to me. I was six when my mother decided to move in hopes of giving my brother and I a better future. If she were alive today I would kiss her feet in appreciation for her doing so.

We are barely into the new year and already Chicago is making its presence known as one of the most dangerous cities in America. We all know that violent crime can happy anywhere…but something is really askew in Chi-town and the local politicians need to put their heads together quickly and figure out what is at the heart of the matter.

As summer approaches and the temperature rises….things are only going to get worse.

“Between March 31st and 2 a.m. this morning — in 50 hours– 41 people have been shot in 31 incidents, including four homicides,” Chicago police Supt. Jody Weis said during a news conference Friday. Just four blocks from where members of the media were assembled , a man in his 20s was shot in the head inside his vehicle.

Some of the chaos overnight was caught on camera by videojournalist Ken Herzlich. Police had responded to the shooting of four people near 66th St. and Marshfield Ave., apparently an extension of gang violence. Herzlich recorded police scrambling for cover as gunshots rang out nearby.

“I was amazed,” said Herzlich. “I couldn’t believe that somebody would have the audacity to do that given the presence of the amount of police officers that were there at the time.”

The shots were fired into a crowd. A woman suffered a graze wound to the head, and a man was hit in the lower back. Neither was seriously injured.

Residents say, unfortunately, similar incidents –while tragic– are neither shocking, nor surprising, not in Englewood. “It’s something you come to expect around here. So, on a hot day, don’t get too far from your house so when the shots start, you can run. Really. Always, around here, somebody is going to want revenge,” a neighbor said.

At the Friday news conference, Weis outlined a number of strategies to combat the violence, including an immediate increase of uniformed officers on the streets in ‘ hot spots’ as part of a saturation policy.

Weis also said police are going to target illegal parties with renewed force because many of them result in violence
