The new faces of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta

Prepare for the drama as the new ladies joining the cast of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta have been announced.

A few months ago it was speculated that noted Atlanta attorney Phaedra Parks would be joining the cast but Bravo quickly shot it down as nothing more than rumor. Well now the cat is officially out of the bag and what was once rumor, is now fact! Not only will Phaedra be joining the cast but Model Cynthia Bailey is also said to be joining the cast as mid season replacement.Cynthis is a model and also mother to actor Leon’s (Five Heartbeats, Madonna “Like A Prayer” video) children.

Its been said that one of the housewives will be leaving mid season and my money is on Lisa Hartwell Wu. I love me some Lisa but the only time I want to see her is when her husband Ed, is on the screen.

The new season is slated to begin shooting in the coming weeks, so I am more than excited to see it when it hits the airwaves!

Jamie Foxx plans return to sketch comedy.

Comedian, Actor, Singer, Producer, Radio Talk Show Host Jamie Foxx is making it hard for anyone else to get a job these days. The one time Living Color personality is planning his return to television and sketch comedy. Jamie is taking his show back to where it all began: Fox.

I am really excited to hear this news because truth be told aside from reality television, I really don’t watch T.V.  Hopefully Jamie’s show will be the catalyst for producers to green-light more diverse programming in hopes of wooing viewers back to network television.

Pretty much everything I watch on television is a cable program and I’m sure that I am not alone.

Maybe we will even see the return of Wanda!

Almost two decades after his breakout stint on “In Living Color,” Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is back at Fox with another urban-flavored sketch-comedy show.

The network has ordered a pilot for an untitled project executive produced by Foxx and fellow “Color” scribes, “MadTV” creators Fax Bahr and Adam Small, with “Wild ‘N Out” alum Affion Crockett attached as one of the stars.

Tantamount and Fox TV Studios are producing.

The pilot is the result of merging two projects. Foxx was looking to do a sketch-comedy series with an urban twist and paired with Bahr and Small to pitch the idea to Fox.

Separately, Sony TV-based Tantamount was working on a sketch-comedy project starring Crockett, probably best known for his spoofs of Russell Simmons, Kanye West, Chris Brown, Drake and Jay-Z. Crockett also was attached to co-write with Carl Jones, a producer on Sony’s animated comedy “The Boondocks,” on which Jones voiced characters alongside Crockett and also served as a producer.

After hearing both pitches, Fox Entertainment president Kevin Reilly proposed marrying the projects.

The combination landed at FtvS, with Foxx executive producing alongside Small, Bahr, Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum as well as Marcus King and Jaime Rucker King, Foxx’s managers and producing partners at Foxx King Entertainment.

Foxx, who co-created, produced and toplined “The Jamie Foxx Show,” had another sketch-comedy show with Bahr and Small in development last year at MTV.

Small and Bahr’s series credits also include “Chocolate News” and “Blue Collar TV.”

Foxx, Small, Bahr and Jones are repped by CAA. Crockett, who recently launched a Web comedy series with Simmons, is repped by Principato Young and Global Artists.
