Kelly Rowland “Commands” attention on new single

Check out the official single from international pop star Kelly Rowland. The single is titled “Commander” and it is a certified banger (if you’re into dance music). While this is a huge departure from Kelly’s earlier efforts, I strongly believe it to be in the best direction for her career.

Kelly has carved out quite a niche’ for herself abroad and it looks like that is the audience she is targeting with this new single. The song has a crazy beat and I dare you to not nod your head or tap your feet to it.

I am so happy to see Kelly getting the shine she so richly deserves!

Kelly Rowland does her thing “Down Under”

Kelly Rowland did her thing at Australia’s ‘Supafest’ .  The celebration was held at the Melbourne Flemmington Racecourse in Melbourne last night. Rowland, 29, headlined the event (which also saw performances from the likes of Eve, Jay Sean, and Akon).

Kelly Rowland performs her new signle “Commander”

Kelly Rowland debut her new single “Commander” over the weekend. The sound quality in the video is quite muffled so I wasn’t able to hear much of it but based on what I heard…its sounds very much in the vein of  “When Love Takes Over”.

She seems to be sticking with the electronic sound that is paying her bills these days. David Guetta is the producer of the song and I am hoping it does well for her.

No shade: I am going to need her to give Rihanna back her costume though…

Kelly Rowland gives back with new charity

Lets face it: you’re not a celebrity these days until you either have a sex tape, nude photos or a charity. I’m happy to see that Kelly Rowland too the high road and is now attached to her very own philanthropic organization.

Kelly Launched her “I Heart My Girlfriends” charity in Miami over the weekend and BFF’s Serena Williams, LaLa Vasquez and Kim Kardashian were all there to support her.

I’m sure Brandy would have been there as well but she was recently spotted shooting scenes for her VH-1 “Family Business” show out in L.A. I’m sure that’s what kept her away.
